In which Mr. Alger complains about the slowness of Rev. Barnard's response to his letters; writes about a "mishap" which has left his right arm and shoulder weak and writes that his 2 sons and his son-in-law voted Republican in the Presidential election. He also describes visiting the Centennial in Philadelphia with his wife and son Horatio.
